如果說席奧是一個成績優異的好學生（天賦異稟，不滿足於僅僅掌握骨釘技藝，轉而搞起藝術），而奧羅則是一個資質較差但十分努力的成績不太好的學生（由於天賦不夠，只能刻苦學習來證明自己），那麼馬託，大概就是一箇中規中矩的中等生了吧，安安靜靜地跟著老師學習，不引人注目，但卻對骨釘技藝有著自己的一份理解，乃至最後成為了像老師一樣的人，熱衷於向有志青年（小騎士）教授骨釘技藝，也正因如此，他對三兄弟的決裂感到惋惜和不解（就像他老師一樣），卻又無能為力，最後也只能和其他兩位兄弟一樣，選擇了一個偏遠的地方（呼嘯山崖），靜靜的待著，選擇讓時間來沖淡這一切。
可以看看他們三兄弟對小騎士來學習劍技時的態度：
席奧：想學劍技嗎，想學我可以教你，不想學啊，我們也可以搞藝術啊，都挺有趣的。
奧羅：想學劍技？你必須得先交錢，我辛辛苦苦學到的東西怎麼能讓你白嫖了呢
馬託：快來學劍技啊，你現在就是我的徒弟了，不要害怕學不會，我當初也是和你一樣的，gkd，gkd，我馬上給你上課。
面對同一樣事物，三類人，三種態度，三種人生，三種追求，沒有孰好孰壞，孰對孰錯。
羅素曾說：參差多態乃幸福本源。正因為有了不同，這個世界才顯得多姿多彩，這個世界才顯得生機勃勃，充滿活力。如果人人都成績優異，人人考試都考滿分，人人都踏踏實實，安安穩穩的上學工作，結婚生子，安享晚年，這樣的世界不免缺乏點樂趣。三兄弟教給我們的，不僅僅是三個劍技，更是對世界，對不同的人生的一種豁達的生活態度。
生平
馬託位於呼嘯山崖的一間小屋內，可以向他學習到旋風斬，旋風斬可以通過按攻擊鍵來延長持續時間，也是三個劍技中，傷害最高的劍技（傷害打滿的情況下）。馬託把小騎士當作自己的孩子，他還對小騎士向他的兄弟學來的劍技進行了評價。在神居，他和奧羅一同出現，並肩作戰。
