學了這麼多年英語，今天第一次看到炸土豆餅叫hash brown。歷史上，炸土豆餅的全稱是"hashed browned potatoes"，hashed表示切碎（肉或蔬菜），browned表示（通過烹飪）使（食物）呈棕色。後來逐漸縮寫為hash brown potatoes，最後直接變為hash brown。
