這是死亡擱淺裡的第一句臺詞，也是我印象最深的臺詞之一。沉穩的男聲在《繩》之後入場，彷彿拉開了電影的帷幕。
A bang which gave birth to time and space.
Once, there was an explosion…
A bang which set a planet spinning in that space.
Once, there was an explosion…
A bang which gave rise to life as we know it.
And then came the next explosion.
從前曾經發生過一次爆炸……
空間和時間在大爆炸那一刻誕生。
從前曾發生過一次爆炸……
有個星球在爆炸後誕生並開始自轉。
從前曾發生過一次爆炸……
生命在爆炸後繁衍生息。
後來又發生了一次爆炸。
而在我們經歷第一次BT虛空噬滅後，Sam看著巨坑說下游戲開頭未說完的話：
Once, there was an explosion…
A bang which gave rise to life as we know it.
And then came the next explosion...
An explosion that will be our last.
整個遊戲就在這種荒涼、絕望的氛圍中展開了，但偏偏周圍又遍佈綠意，這種矛盾給我，遊玩者，帶來了一絲恐懼，一種對未知的恐懼。
而這，便是令我對這句臺詞印象深刻的原因。
