《巫師》官方此前表示，《巫師 3：狂獵》次世代版本將在今年第四季度發佈。現在，Reddit 論壇有一位自稱是歐洲頭部遊戲零售商Game UK 內部員工的用戶爆料稱，他們給出的資料中顯示《巫師 3：狂獵》次世代版將於 12 月 9 日正式發售。
同時，他本人還曬出了一張部分遊戲的發售日期清單，“我在 Game 工作，而《巫師 3：狂獵》次世代版剛剛在我們的預購頁面上更新了發佈時間”，當然他也不確定這是最終日期還是佔位符，但考慮到 CDPR 承諾的年底確實很有可能。
