《巫师》官方此前表示，《巫师 3：狂猎》次世代版本将在今年第四季度发布。现在，Reddit 论坛有一位自称是欧洲头部游戏零售商Game UK 内部员工的用户爆料称，他们给出的资料中显示《巫师 3：狂猎》次世代版将于 12 月 9 日正式发售。
同时，他本人还晒出了一张部分游戏的发售日期清单，“我在 Game 工作，而《巫师 3：狂猎》次世代版刚刚在我们的预购页面上更新了发布时间”，当然他也不确定这是最终日期还是占位符，但考虑到 CDPR 承诺的年底确实很有可能。
