顽皮狗 联合总裁 Neil Druckmann在做客Kinda Funny的播客节目时透露，顽皮狗已经开始开始制作下一款游戏了，但Neil Druckmann暗示这款作品不是《最后生还者3》。
Neil Druckmann称：“我知道粉丝们很想要《最后生还者3》，我一直能听到这些声音，我只能说我们已经进入下一个项目了，决定已经做出，我不能透露它是什么。我们考虑了很多不同的东西，然后选择了让我们最兴奋的项目”。
Neil Druckmann 还提到，顽皮狗并没有受到来自索尼的压力，让他们去开发续作，因此顽皮狗会按照自己的想法制作游戏，尝试一些不同的项目，不会一味的响应玩家的需求。
《最后生还者3》何时能被提上日程，Neil Druckmann并没有回应。

Vice President Neil Druckmann, speaking at the Kinda Funny Spoilercast, confirmed that the developer company had already decided what its next PS5 project would be, and while he couldn’t reveal what it would be, he explained that the team had chosen the game it collectively “most pleased”. Elsewhere in the interview, he revealed that Naughty Dog has been restructured to allow it to develop multiple games at the same time, as evidenced by the fact that it released The Last of Us: Part 1 last year and has a standalone multiplayer game in development. He added that the studio now has a large number of producers, game directors and writers, which allows it to be more organized in general. Druckmann hasn’t confirmed whether The Last of Us: Part 3 will be the team’s next game or not, but he acknowledged that the demand for a third game continues, and given the TV show’s huge success, it’s hard to imagine anything else at the moment.
