自從有了夜蘭，揹包裡雞腿的數量急劇上升，每天都能把稻妻的狗喂得飽飽的。深夜蓄力望天上放一箭，也會是一道靚麗的風景線。
話不多說，今天繼續把夜蘭角色詳細的第5-8句好好學一下。
第五句：她猶如一條幽靈，常以不同面目出現在各色事件中心，又趕在風暴停歇前消失無蹤。
好複雜，那還是拆成兩句話吧。
①她猶如一條幽靈，常以不同面目出現在各色事件中心。
②她又趕在風暴停歇前消失無蹤。
第①小句中，幽靈就是鬼，ghost。
後半句順序要倒一下，出現在各色事件中心，常以不同面目。
出現，可以用appear或者show up。
各色事件，也就是很多不同事件，various events。
不同面目，指的是夜蘭用不同的身份，different identities。
前後用定語從句銜接，第①小句可以翻譯為She is like a ghost who appears in the center of various events in different identities.
第②小句，比較簡單。風暴停歇，也就是風暴停止，storm is over。
消失無蹤，簡單點就是消失，disappear。前面出現 appear，後面消失 disappear。哈哈哈。
時態上用完成時，第②小句可以翻譯為She has disappeared before the storms are over。
官方版本：She is a ghost whowalks in the middle of many crisesunder various names. But before the storms can come to an end, she has already disappeared without a trace.
出現，這裡用的詞是walk，簡直絕了。我們都知道walk是行走的意思，查字典之後發現，它還特指鬼魂出現。例如，the ghosts walked abroad 鬼魂四處遊蕩。正好呼應了前面把夜蘭比作幽靈。
在……中心，in the middle of。center 一般只用於空間，而 middle 既可以用於空間，也可以用於時間或活動等，所以我前面翻譯錯了，應該用in the middle of。不過需要注意的是，表示學術、工業、商業等比喻用法中的“中心”，通常只能用center, 而不能用 middle。比如：Beijing is the political, economic and cultural centre of China. 北京是中國政治、經濟和文化的中心。
各色事件，many crises。說明夜蘭經歷的事件都是些危機事件，單數為crisis。
以不同面目，under various names，很直接。
停歇，come to an end。結束的意思。
消失無蹤，disappear without a trace。這裡把無蹤也給寫出來了。
第六句：
偶爾，會有一方勢力得到她的協助，但就在他們沾沾自喜時，同樣的協助很快又出現在另外一方身上。
一方勢力，有點抽象，簡單看成一方，寫做one party或者one side。
沾沾自喜，也就是自我滿足，complacent或者self-satisfied。
另外一方，the other side。
這句翻譯為occasionally, one side will get her asistance. But when they feel self-satisfied, Yelan will soon give a hand to the other side.
官方版本：Sometimes, she will pick a side in some conflict to offer her help, but those who receive her aid would be fools to celebrate prematurely, for they soon find that the same help has been extended to their opponents.
前面以夜蘭為主語，她挑了一方pick a side，去提供幫助offer her help。得到幫助，為了減少重複，用的是receive her aid。
沾沾自喜，to celebrate prematurely，過早地慶祝，那樣子真太蠢了。
接著又把主語換為起先的一方勢力，他們發現夜蘭也給予了他們的對手，opponents同樣的幫助。這裡的提供幫助用的是extend help。都是簡單的詞彙，但是用的很活。
第七句：
吃過虧的人無不對此咬牙切齒，可即便如此，也始終沒人能看透她的意圖，更無法摸清她的立場。
吃過虧，從字面上很難翻譯，可以理解為受到損失suffer losses。
咬牙切齒，也就是很生氣，很痛恨，hate bitterly。
看透，see through。有趣~
意圖，intention。
更無法，類似更別說，let alone。
摸清，find out。
立場，stance。
生詞理清楚就可以試著翻譯了，Those who have suffered losses hated her bitterly. But even so, no one is able to see through her intention, let alone find out her stance.
官方版本：Having stepped into her trap, many have vowed to take revenge, yet none are able to tell what she is planning, let alone know where she stands.
吃過虧，Having stepped into her trap。吃過虧的人也就是那些踏入她的陷阱的人。雖然我沒有感到吃虧，但是把她拉起來也感到了身體被掏空，彷彿踏入了她的陷阱。
咬牙切齒，vow to take revenge，發誓要報仇，可見對夜蘭是極度痛恨。
看透意圖和摸清立場，這裡用的是tell what she is planning, know where she stands。更加形象生動，更有畫面感。
第八句：
有人認為，她是服務於某個神秘勢力的密探，擅長推波助瀾並從中獲利。
神秘勢力，也就是神秘組織，mysterious organization。
密探，也就是間諜或者特務，spy。好像瞬間明白了她的工種，怪不得她的信息被隱藏了起來。
擅長，good at。
推波助瀾，有點火上澆油的感覺，fan the fire。
從中獲利，make profit from。
這句話還比較簡單，翻譯為some people believe that she is a spy who works for some mysterious organization. Meanwhile, she is good at fan the fire during crises and make profit from them.
官方版本：Many believe that she is a spy who works for some mysterious organization, and that her forte is stirring things up in the dark, which she then relies on to attain what she wants.
擅長在這裡，動詞轉用名詞，寫的長處 forte。
推波助瀾，stir things up in the dark，在背地裡煽動。感覺有點貶義。
從中獲利，relies on to attain what she wants。
