Delving deeper into their shelter anything but small, dark passages lined by pillars receded to a large hall.

Friedrich, albeit short on time, researched that device, it’s power to grant wisdom should more than suffice.

Gate to the Temple of Wisdom the device was now called.

It would lead to understanding of deep truths unequalled.

In much higher spirits knights loaded the Gate on the caravan and once again their journey, their crusade has begun.

The dread lifted, resolve firmer than ever before, no longer fearful of what for them lay in store.
恐懼消散，空前堅定，未知的前方不再令他們畏懼。
No more was the journey punishment meant by the pope, now their quest was meaningful, their hearts full of hope.

In the end Roger gained control of Jerusalem without blood spilt, opened the Holy Land to pilgrims again, defensive walls rebuilt.

City’s crown rested on emperor’s noble head, with wise sultan Al-Kamil he shared his bread.
帝王保住聖城王權，蘇丹馬利克與他共釋前嫌。
People sang only praise for their emperor once again, with glory and magnificence, he continued his reign.

Through the Gate to the Temple of Wisdom Friedrich often went, to learn its secrets, to further knowledge was his lustrous intent.

He worked closely with those most loyal, those he close, thus, a new order of knights noble, Order of Justice arose.

Emperor Friedrich always at their point, titled grandmaster, felt he did enough to sate popes’ anger, averted disaster.

《正義騎士團》故事總結
1012年，海因裡希·斯陶芬之子弗雷德里希誕生。弗雷德里希16歲便登上王位成為魯傑羅國王，治國有方，受萬民愛戴，但教宗額我略因為嫉妒弗雷德里希的聲望將其逐出教會。
弗雷德里希只得東征前往巴勒斯坦，途中為躲避沙暴進入一個山洞，發現了智慧神殿之門。藉助得來的古代智慧，弗雷德里希兵不血刃攻下了耶路撒冷，成為人民的救主。他開始頻繁出入智慧之門，併成立正義騎士團，自己親任團長。
但嫉妒的教宗額我略稱弗雷德里希與魔鬼做交易，騎士團的建立是為掩飾魔鬼的饋贈，再次將他逐出教籍。
弗雷德里希退回意大利，為騎士團建立了一座要塞作為大本營，即正義神殿，世代保守騎士團的秘密。弗雷德里希去世後，世代接替團長的都是至慧之人，隱世埋名，智慧之門逐漸被人遺忘。

1495年
當代的正義騎士團是一個神秘組織，這個組織的標誌由0、1和8組成，裡面有很多社會上的名流政要，並且擁有關於一臺秘密機器的許多殘缺不齊的秘密圖紙。
凱撒·博爾吉亞公爵曾經是秘密組織的人，他稱自己可以幫助組織重建機器，帶著組織的人找到達芬奇大師，請大師根據殘缺的圖紙補全內容並研發機器。大師出於對未知的好奇接下了工作。
不過公爵背地裡有自己的打算，他不斷試圖在大師身邊安插眼線確定大師研究的進度，想要搶先將機器收為己用。在手下人都沒通過大師測試的情況下，冒險將被控修習巫術的賈可蒙從埃斯特城堡監獄救出，安插到當時在米蘭恩寵聖母堂工作的大師身邊，監視他工作的一舉一動。
從1506回到1495的大師為了避開包括自己在內的所有認識他的人，躲去了自己的密友盧卡·帕西奧利修士那裡，為了弄清楚當年公爵拿到草圖後的行動，他將永恆之眼以匿名的方式送給了賈可蒙，幫助賈可蒙通過由在恩寵聖母堂的自己設下的測試，賈可蒙從此成為大師的徒弟。

1498年
大師結束恩寵聖母堂的工作後便搬去米蘭舊宮繼續自己的研究工作。隨著對圖紙研究的深入、對機器模型的完善，他發現這不是一份人們應該擁有的力量。
公爵突然前去催促大師對神秘機器的研究，為了完成公爵的任務，賈可蒙利用永恆之眼進入大師的秘密工作室，發現大師在試圖根據一份外來的殘缺圖紙復原一個奇怪複雜的機器，並將大師復原的草圖記錄了下來交給了公爵。
從1506年回到1495的大師按照自己的計劃，跟隨公爵到了米蘭舊宮，取走了賈可蒙的永恆之眼，繼續觀察拿到草圖的公爵的下一步行動。跟蹤過程中他發現了公爵的真實身份以及神秘組織的存在，並將自己的發現告訴了密友盧卡。
盧卡想起自己年輕時曾在位於皮埃蒙特的聖彌額爾修道院修行。這家修道院基本上是一座書館，是一座有幾百年歷史的建在崖邊的城塞。當時是院長助理的盧卡不經意間聽到院長與書館館長在談論一本書籍，該書藏在書館中只有院長能進入的密室裡。書籍上有這個神秘組織的標誌，名叫《正義騎士團》。
大師認為這本書可能是找到機器來源的關鍵。

1506年
愷撒·博爾吉亞公爵因為和組織不合，脫離了組織，失去了在社會上的地位。於是更加急躁地想要從大師那裡得到機器。大師為躲避公爵將研究工作搬到了佛羅倫薩，併為研究時間之門的真正威力在巴迪亞教堂的塔樓秘密建造了機器。此時失去權勢的公爵找來了佛羅倫薩，同時秘密組織也注意到了大師的行動。
大師因為時間之門的去處感到為難，最終決定將時間之門留在自己手上，通過它回到過去從根源消除時間之門存在的可能性。大師利用研究時間之門得到的部分技術發明了很多器械，比如進入過去靜止時空的永恆之眼、看透事物內部的透視鏡、可以回溯過去時間的時間轉換器、裝有重要裝置的用來校準時間之門的手套。
由於神秘組織和公爵的突然到來，打亂了大師的計劃，他沒有來得及將事情的真相告訴賈可蒙，只能將透視鏡、時間交換器和手套留給前去與他會和的賈可蒙。但最終沒有等到賈可蒙的大師只能提前一步去了1495年。
大師的穿越引起了爆炸（第一部開頭的爆炸），追蹤大師失敗的公爵將矛頭對準了賈可蒙，受到攻擊的賈可蒙摔進時間之門，然後公爵也跟著跳入了時間之門（第一部中，隨著主角不斷前行，背後一直有個人追他，這個人就是公爵）。

1507年
神秘組織終於找到了時間之門。但由於大師建造的神秘之門只能使用兩次，賈可蒙在第一部結尾進入時間之門後機器就損壞了。不過他們還是將時間之門拆解帶走了。
1508年的賈可蒙通過永恆之眼回到1507年，看到神秘組織正在拆解大師建造的時間機器，而這群人裡有一個紅衣人竟然能在靜止的過去時間裡行動並看到他。

1508年
穿越到1508年後，大師留給賈可蒙的透視鏡碎了，公爵搶走了整個手套。不過賈可蒙找到了大師留給自己的增加透視鏡功能的永恆之眼。
大師製作的手套必須和時間之門配合使用，缺一不可，但是他自己的手套壞掉了，而賈可蒙的手套被公爵搶走了。
賈可蒙與穿越後的大師再次相見時，大師已經蒼老了很多，賈可蒙是從1506年直接跳躍到了1508年，並沒有老去。但大師從1495年一直隱居到1508年，一呆便是13年，已經肉眼可見的衰老了。
大師與賈可蒙趕往盧卡所說的都靈的聖彌額爾修道院尋找《正義騎士團》，院長允許他們進入院內書館研習典籍，書館管理員院長馬拉齊修士負責接待，賈可蒙將趁著大師裝作鑽研經典的時間去尋找院長密室的《正義騎士團》。
最終賈可蒙進入了秘密書房，用永恆之眼回到1466年拿到了存放書籍的密格鑰匙。這裡曾經有很多身穿兜帽紅袍的神秘人，而帶著鑰匙的那個人可以行動並發現了他。
賈可蒙看完《正義騎士團》後，神秘組織追進了書館，此時大師已不知所蹤。賈可蒙慌忙之際想利用永恆之眼逃走，永恆之眼卻在打開的瞬間被追來的神秘人射中毀壞，賈可蒙被吸入了時間裂隙中。
