近日，《死亡岛2》开发商Dambuster Studios透露，本作的通关时间大概在20小时左右。
上述消息来自于Dambuster Studios《死亡岛2》的设计总监，他透露开发团队预计通关《死亡岛2》的时间是20小时，虽然这个时间长度并不是完美通关的时间，但是也包含了一系列支线任务。
设计总监表示《死亡岛2》的重玩性非常高，比如游戏有六个主角可供选择，而且这位总监还表示玩家通关之后，仍然可以从《死亡岛2》中获得更多内容。
《死亡岛2》将于4月21日上市，登陆PC、PS和Xbox。
Developer Dambuster Studios has revealed how long it will take most players to complete Dead Island 2. In recent years, open-world games have become bigger than ever before, and players can find dozens of hours of content in them. Whether it’s games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Elden Ring or Red Dead Redemption 2, the open world genre is often synonymous with long playtime. And while Dead Island 2 itself will be quite long, Dambuster has tried to create a game that will be more respectful of players’ time. In the latest, Dead Island 2 Design Director Adam Duckett talked about how long Dambuster thinks it will take players to complete the game. Basically, Duckett said that 20 hours is the general estimate that Dambuster sticks to when it comes to completing Dead Island 2. Although this figure is not based on 100% completion of the game, it does take into account the completion of some side missions. According to our estimates, it will take about 20 hours to complete an important path with one character and complete side quests. Again, this was our design choice. We understand that people want to do things outside of gaming, so we wanted to focus on making the experience as enjoyable as possible. Duckett also noted that Dead Island 2 was designed with replayability in mind, which is one of the reasons why the game is slightly shorter compared to other open world games. With six unique characters to choose from and a deckbuilding system at the heart of the game, Duckett thinks those looking to get more out of Dead Island 2 after their first playthrough will have plenty to enjoy. Dead Island 2 is currently scheduled to release on April 21 next month. The game will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC (via the Epic Games Store).
