KeokeN Interactive
In an interview, the developers at Keoken Interactive spoke about the scope of the science fiction adventure “Deliver Us Mars”. The studio didn’t want to name a specific season, but pointed out that the successor will be much more extensive than “Deliver Us The Moon”. Since the announcement in the summer that the release of the story adventure “Deliver Us Mars” will unfortunately be postponed to next year, the developers at Keoken Interactive have been regularly providing us with new details and impressions from their next project. One of the points of criticism made by the players about “Deliver Us The Moon” was the manageable playing time, since it was easily possible to complete the adventure in four to five hours. As narrative director Raynor Arkenbout promised in an interview with Gamingbolt’s English-speaking colleagues, his team has improved in this area and will not only take you to different biomes in “Deliver Us Mars”. In addition, Arkenbout promised us a science fiction adventure that will be “significantly more extensive” than “Deliver Us The Moon”. According to Arkenbout, however, he did not want to name a specific season, since each player approaches the adventure and the various challenges differently. “We’re not releasing details on length at this time as we believe it will vary by player,” the narrative director said. “With Deliver Us the Moon, there were a lot of comments asking us to make a longer game next time. And we wanted that too. It’s a lot longer!” Looking at the different biomes that will add variety to Deliver Us Mars, Arkenbout stated, “Obviously there will be a visual difference – that’s the most significant change. We’ve worked hard on that side of things and brought real environmental diversity to our game by visiting more biomes this time: the red sands of Mars, an icy valley, an abandoned space station – plus there are sections set on Earth, and a few surprises.” “This time we had to play a lot more with the lighting and use the solar cycle to set the atmosphere of each chapter of the story – we certainly made the best of those techniques,” it concludes.
