© About two months after Patch 5.00, which was supposed to be Tekken 7’s last balance update, another balance update will arrive on October 4th. This was announced by the official Tekken Twitter account. The message also stated that replays recorded in a previous version of the game would not play after the update. The upcoming balance announcement came as a surprise to Tekken 7 fans. They didn’t expect any updates after patch 5.00 as it was touted as the game’s “Final Balance Update”. The new balance update is expected to weaken the currently strong characters in the game. It is also possible that some of the less popular characters will receive some buffs that will make them more competent both in online play and in the tournament. Update 5.00 was released on August 17th and brought a lot of nerfs to some of the most popular characters in the game. The update also introduced a new tactic that puts your opponent at a disadvantage.
