Games According to the plot of Hogwarts Legacy, gamers will take on the role of a new student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 19th century. The project will not have any co-op, no competitive multiplayer, no microtransactions. As part of a 46-minute presentation (about 34 minutes of gameplay), the developers, led by director Alan Tew, showed the depth of the character editor, made a short tour of Hogwarts and demonstrated the combat system. During the Hogwarts tour (which began with Hufflepuff’s restroom), the developers talked about more than 20 equippable spells, the ability to turn off many interface elements, a menu in the form of a guide, and a day and night cycle. Gamers will be able to visit most of the visible locations and be rude (if desired) in the dialogues. Skipping lessons (they will be part of the plot structure) is impossible. You won’t be able to play magic chess and spit-stones either. Finally, the authors explained the principles of enchantment, the system for parrying enemy shots (if you hold down the button, a counterattack will come out) and showed several battles (the color of the shield hints at a spell suitable for breaking it). Hogwarts Legacy is expected to release on February 10, 2023 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, with a Switch release date to be announced at a later date.
