改编自卡洛·科洛迪知名小说《木偶奇遇记》的魂类游戏《匹诺曹的谎言》即将于9月19日正式发售。在游戏发售之前，本作完整的成就列表现已公开，其中包括42个奖杯和一个白金奖杯。
《匹诺曹的谎言》制作人在接受外媒采访时表示：因为是第一次制作魂类RPG游戏，选择匹诺曹为主角首先是考虑到这个角色的知名度，毕竟动画电影《木偶奇遇记》大部分人都看过，里面可爱的小木偶令人深刻。其次选择匹诺曹的重要原因则是原著《木偶奇遇记》的故事很符合魂类游戏的定位。匹诺曹的冒险经历很跌宕起伏，“被吞到鲸鱼的肚子里”就很适合魂类游戏的改编；而且原著中的故事风格比较黑暗荒诞，这使得游戏充满“魂味儿”。
《匹诺曹的谎言》开启预购购买了豪华版的用户可以在9月14日就开启游戏的预载，并于9月16日抢先体验。而标准版，游戏的预载将于9月17日开启，游戏正式发售则需要等到9月19日。
将于 2023 年9月19日登陆 PlayStation、Xbox Series X / S 以及 PC 平台，首发加入 XGP 订阅，支持中文
