In addition, the creator recalled that the team managed not only to release the first version of the game on different platforms, but also to get to the release of the mobile version and DLC. Special attention was given, by the way, to Steam Deckwhere the game was extremely popular. The creation of mobile Vampire Survivors took a special effort, as Galante was looking for a business partner for a long time who would not insist on an aggressive monetization model. Against the backdrop of negotiations, clone games began to appear on the market, which prompted the creators to complete work on the mobile version more quickly. Because of this, the project acquired some technical problems, which the authors do not yet have enough resources to solve – but the players highly appreciated this publication. In 2023, the team plans to introduce a new engine on PC – it is already present on consoles and in the mobile version. Galante noted that the Steam Deck might be particularly problematic with this issue. At the same time, it turned out that the first version of the new engine worked 10 times faster than the previous one, but because of this, the physics was too realistic, which was not suitable for the exaggerated style of the project. Even in the future, users expect new DLC, which will add characters, weapons and locations. And the base version of the game will be updated regularly. In the end, the developer hinted that the studio is working on some more content not related to Vampire Survivors – a public beta version of the mysterious novelty will soon appear in Steam.
