Electronic Arts has formed new partnerships with both the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and the National Women’s Soccer League Players Association (NWSLPA) for FIFA 23. The company has now also secured the rights to the women’s professional league in the USA, which also wants to underline the further commitment to continue to be active in this area and to ensure even more authenticity. Beginning March 15, all 12 NWSL teams will be represented across all platforms in Kick-Off, Tournament, 1v1, Co-op and Online Friendlies. Four NWSL stadiums will also be available in FIFA 23, along with authentic kits, starheads, trophies and celebrations. Jessica Berman, Commissioner of the NWSL, commented on the new deal: “The integration of the NWSL into FIFA 23 is a monumental milestone for the league, the players and millions of soccer fans around the world as we continue to push the boundaries of women’s soccer.
