But now the developer has announced details of the protagonist’s background story via Twitter. According to Guerrilla Games, Ryas comes from a noble Carja family. He is described as a capable and skillful man who has, however, lost confidence in himself. The reason for this? Unknown. In any case, during his youth he became a master of rock climbing. Additionally, his time as Shadow Carja made him a seasoned fighter and machine hunter. Ryas fights like Aloy from the main parts with bow and arrow. Its exact appearance remains a mystery. All we see is that he kept some of his Carja gear. However, he removed all signs and insignia pointing to his former tribe. Ryas will try to restore his honor. Although the inhabitants of the post-apocalyptic world will probably never forgive him for his deeds. For example, he played a role in kidnapping young Prince Itamen.
