I've been a Steam player for over five years and I've spent hundreds of dollars on Steam. I'm writing to ask for a refund for Call of Duty Black Ops 6 (B06)
Buy on December 18th.
I believe that B06 is a standalone game rather than a DLC, which however shares the same starting programme with Call of Duty®. I'm sure you'll agree that B0 6 is subject to the same purchasing and refund regulations.
I'm requesting a refund because of some issues downloading some of the content. I tried to download the multiplayer pack, but It cannot work. I couldn't get the multiplayer game to start, even after restarting or re-downloading. This has happened to lots of other players online, and the developer could fix it in recent days/weeks. I'd like a refund before it's too late! This refund request clearly meets the Steam regulations and terms, so it's reasonable to assume it will be approved.
However, the claim was turned down because l'd played for about 127 hours. I'd like to say that I spent 127 happy hours on Call of Duty Warzone® and it's free to play.
Therefore these 127 hours shouldn't affect my ability to refund because the paid content for playing this game doesn't exceed an hour. I'd appreciate it if you could take a moment to think about how I spent 217 hours on the purchase I made in only four days. Don't you think that's a bit absurd? Don't you think this is unfair to consumers? My refund request is generally in line with Steam's refund requirements.
I have lawfully exercised my personal rights within the scope of complying with Steam's refund policy requirements. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone with my choice of words - that wasn't my intention! What I hope is that your team will take my refund request seriously. If I can't exercise my personal rights, I might have to use legal means to protect my rightful property.
