We never thought we'd get this done in time for launch, but so many of you have asked and we LOVE handhelds - so our hard working @moongamestudios team has moved mountains to make @wickedgame playable on Steam Deck, ROG Ally and other Handhelds Day 1!
We're getting 30-40fps on the Deck, depending on the quality with some dips to 20-25 fps. Some cinematics might dip more, but gameplay is very enjoyable thanks to our Game Simulation always running at locked 60fps, so the game input for the precision combat remains super responsive!
Bear in mind, this is not yet official-official as it's coming out hot and we will be working with Valve on official verification shortly.
Image quality, performance dips and memory will be further improved as we will be patching and improving the game in the future. I really love how this game feels with Deck's locked 40fps screen and our 60fps game simulation and responsive input. So hopefully we'll be able to get to that locked 40fps target sometime after launch.
Even in the current state we're very stoked to have all of you to play this game on the go, so much sooner!
