Not satisfied with the first gameplay video of Resident Evil 4 Remake, Capcom closes the Showcase on the future of its iconic horror series with a flourish by packaging a trailer focused, this time, on the story and on the characters of the updated version of RE4 for PC and consoles. With the trailer admired at the end of the event with the inevitable ‘one more thing’, the Japanese publisher and developer resumes the gameplay scenes and expands the narrative perimeter (but without contextualizing it so as not to fall into annoying spoilers) thus giving us a way to familiarize yourself with the characters of this blockbuster horror. The movie shows so Leon Kennedy in the hell of El Pueblo after setting out on the trail of Ashley Graham, the lost daughter of the president of the United States. Our alter-ego is thus attacked by the locals infected by Las Plagas, a parasite that transforms them into wild creatures and irrepressible violence. The window opened by Capcom on the history of RE4 leads us to admire old acquaintances such as Ada Wong and shady characters who will not hesitate to put a spoke in Leon’s wheel. Before leaving you to the video, we remind you that Resident Evil 4 Remake will be available from March 23, 2023 on PC, PS4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. During the showcase, Capcom also unveiled the contents of the Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s editions of Resident Evil 4 Remake.
