今日，據外媒報道，《最終幻想16》創意總監前廣和豐證實玩家除了可以扮演主角克萊夫·羅斯菲爾德之外，遊戲還有第二個可玩角色。
《最終幻想16》創意總監前廣和豐在接受日本媒體Game Watch的採訪時稱：“在遊戲開始時，你可以控制一個不是克萊布的角色。”
前廣和豐並沒有詳細解釋《最終幻想16》中的第二個可玩角色，根據他的說法，第二個可玩角色可能只會在《最終幻想16》中出現很短一段時間，而不是在整個遊戲中與“克萊布”一起做為主要可玩角色。
此外，製作人吉田直樹還補充道，在《最終幻想16》的戰鬥中，“克萊布”的隊友將由電腦AI控制。《最終幻想16》將於2023年夏季發售，登陸PS5。
