外媒Windows Central的主编Jez Corden在最新一期的“The XboxTwo”节目中回应了关于《星空之地》的问题。
在节目中有一个问题是：《星空之地》会不会选择在4月12日的世界航天日当天发售。Corden表示并不会，根据他得到的消息，《星空》将在2023年6月正式发售。但是随后他又改口强调，这只是他个人的推测，并不是官方的确实消息。
此前报道，Jez Corden收到的信息称，《星空之地》已处于全程可玩的状态，但开发商内部仍然没有确定上市日期。此前CDKeys的《星空之地》页面提到本作将于3月23日发售，与微软声明的今年上半年的发售日期一致。

Corden doesn’t give a precise month and is open to the possibility that the timeline could be pushed back, but the latest information that’s been leaked to him is June. The speculation came in response to a question from viewers that the launch had been scheduled for International Day of Human Space Flight, which falls on April 12. Corden: “You often hear about it. Many people think that Starfield’s launch date could be related to International Cosmonautics Day. In my opinion, Starfield will be released in June. This is my prediction, although the game may be released after June. My latest information suggests that the launch will be in June.” Of course, it’s fair to say that this is just a rumor, so it should be taken as such. As of now, neither Microsoft nor Bethesda have announced a new release date for Starfield after last year’s delay. Starfield is the latest development from the Elder Scrolls studio. It’s a space RPG that will let you travel between over a thousand planets.
