© Shiny Shoe announced that Inkbound, which combines elements of ARPG, tactical games and roguelikes, will appear in Steam Early Access on May 22, 2023 and will remain so for 1-2 years. The Inkbound universe will continue to expand over time with new books, characters to meet and challenges to overcome. Inkbound is built around cooperative play, which further enhances its tactical elements. Binders can work together to weaken enemies and unleash devastating attacks. Or perhaps one Binder can retreat, keeping his group healthy during the battle. Each roguelike game is unique and players must learn and adapt to each exciting new challenge. Co-op is encouraged but not required. Binders can go on their own adventures alone, but teaming up is the safest way to tackle the toughest challenges and get the best Inkbound loot. Inkbound will also include a Season Pass at launch that will give you access to exciting in-game cosmetics and cosmetics shop currency. Players who reach the maximum level will earn enough currency to get access to the season pass for the next season, and the surplus can be used at their discretion. Additional details about the Season Pass will be revealed at a later date.
