© Despite the abundance of news from the first-person shooter Atomic Heart in the last few days, including not the most joyful ones, the developers from the Moscow-based studio Mundfish continue to share bits of information about their ambitious project on social networks. This time, the authors published a short video on the telegram channel, in which they showed a small excerpt from the cut-scene with the main character, as well as work in the office. Atomic Heart is set in an alternate retrofuturistic version of the Soviet Union. The protagonist of the game is P-3, a secret agent sent to secret base number 3826, where he must find out why contact with the personnel was lost. Once the protagonist reaches the destination, he discovers that the machines present there are turned against humanity. What’s even worse is the fact that there are hordes of zombies walking around the complex. They are victims of Dr. Stockhausen’s experiments. The protagonist finds out what exactly happened by searching the territory of the facility. Atomic Heart is expected to release on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 “this winter”.
