Starfield has been examined by Australian Classification Board who classified it as “Restricted”or a game that is forbidden to a minor audience due to the contents it contains. In particular, Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG achieved this classification due to the presence of “moderate impact” language and themes, “strong impact” violence and “very light impact” nudity and a “high impact” for the drug use. Note that instead it seems there will be no sex scenes. To make a comparison remaining in the Bethesda house, both The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4 in Australia were classified “15+” (in Europe instead PEGI assigned “18+” to both), a sign that perhaps Starfield could include a greater amount of violence and themes not suitable for young audiences than in the company’s previous games. We remind you that Starfield will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC starting from September 6, 2023. It will be included in the PC and Xbox Game Pass catalog at launch. A YouTube channel has released an upscaled version of the gameplay shown in the latest trailer.
