One of the main announcements of the last The Game Awards event is Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, developed by FromSoftware studio under the leadership of game designer Masaru Yamamura. The project should be released in 2023, but so far there is little information about it. As part of an interview with the Japanese version of the game portal IGN, the game designer shared some details about the game: In Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, players will find a new story, the context of which will be clear without passing through Armored Core V. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is not an open world game, players will choose the missions they intend to complete, and within these missions will have free movement. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is primarily aimed at a single passage. The developers note that there will be no co-op in the game. At the same time, the multiplayer will still be – in the format of PvP arenas, where players can clash with each other on their own customized mechs. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon promises “spectacular boss fights.” At the same time, the game is faithful to the previous parts of the series in terms of gameplay – you should not expect Souls-like from it. Recall that Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and PC.
