But unfortunately, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was originally planned as a standalone project. So no season 2 is being planned or in the works behind the scenes at this time. Even if they return to anime in the future, he can’t be sure whether it will end up being season 2 or a new and different story. CDPR admits that there are no plans for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners S2 considering that from the start it was formulated as a standalone series.
