开发商FuturLab在推特上宣布，本作自5月推出以来，玩家现已突破300万。官方表示目前只专注于Xbox和PC平台，暂不会登陆其他平台。目前的游戏规划除了单人游戏外，还有在线合作和自由游戏，最多可容纳六名玩家。挑战模式也可供那些想要更艰难的人使用，无论是在规定的时间内清洗，还是在准确性测试中尽可能少用水。
不过开发商也表示，新的内容会需要一段较长时间的开发，后续也已经有很多新地图在制作中，他们正对玩家提供的想法进行整理，后续也会在社区内进行投票精选。
FuturLab may be known better for Velocity Ultra and Velocity 2X, but its latest indie hit is a bit more chill. PowerWash Simulator is a simulation game that’s about, well, washing things. That’s pretty much it. Nevertheless, it’s garnered over three million players since launching in May 2021 for PC via Steam Early Access. It was released out of early access in July and is available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S along with Game Pass. As simple as the premise sounds, PowerWash Simulator does provide several different jobs, ranging from small to complex, and various tools and upgrades. You can also customize your look with different skins and gloves. Along with single-player, there’s an online co-op and Free Play for up to six players. Challenge Mode is also available for those who want something a bit tougher, whether it’s washing in the allotted time or using as little water as possible in an accuracy test.
